BRI-FORTH joins the MENTOR Doctoral Network on mTOR signaling

BRI is an official partner in MENTOR, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network dedicated to studying mTOR signaling and its role in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.

Through this program, the Neurobiology Lab (Dr. Christos Gkogkas) will host a PhD student to investigate the mTOR-dependent translational regulation mechanisms in brain function and disease. The selected PhD candidate will be enrolled at the Department of Medicine, University of Ioannina, in collaboration with Prof. S. Konitsiotis.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Hold (or obtain) a Master’s degree before the start date
  • Meet the international mobility requirement (cannot have resided in Greece for more than 12 months in the last 3 years)

Participation in MENTOR highlights BRI-FORTH’s commitment to excellence in neuroscience research and its dedication to fostering international collaboration in biomedical sciences.
